Jelly Roll Toast When the grocery store is giving away free squishy white bread with a purchase, or when it's on sale at 2 loaves for a dollar Serves one
2 slices squishy white bread Jelly, jam, preserves, your choice of flavor
Spread each slice of bread with jelly. Roll up each slice and fasten with a toothpick. Put the rolled slices seam down on a baking sheet and cover with a damp cloth until ready to put in oven. Toast under broiler for one to two minutes. Serve hot.
