Basil carrots
1/4 cup butter 12 medium carrots, thinly sliced diagonally 1/2 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons chopped fresh basil (or 1 teapoon tried basil)
Melt the butter in a skilled. Add remaining ingredients, cover and simmer 10 to 12 minutes or until carrots are crisp-tender. No water is needed. 12 servings.
