It's finally starting to hit me that the nest is getting empty. Even though the oldest two kids have been away from home for a couple of years now, we had a wedding and one of the kids finishing graduate school this summer. Officially adults! I guess I should be looking forward to the day when we'll all fit in one vehicle again. And the college kids, instead of coming home to jobs for the summer, are off on school sponsored trips abroad. So it's quiet around here...maybe TOO quiet?
What is everyone else have going on this summer?

I get it. My three oldest are out, one is perched on the edge of the nest, and when assorted kids go off to camp and we are down to 2, it just feels WRONG.
Part of that is because I want more so badly, but part is also because for so long our family was growing, so having it shrinking is just weird.
