There is a possibility we might be without kids for a week this summer. The older kids like to go to sports camps, and the younger have gone to visit family on a farm in the midwest the last couple of years. This year the stars may align and there may be no kids at home for a couple of days or maybe even a week.

I loved the summers when both hub and I had off and we would pack the kids up and go camping. Those days are long gone and now I get to plan a vacation, just the two of us. Never did have a honeymoon, haha.

Does anyone have any fantasy vacations?

Mary and I went on a week long cruise around caribean after she had our son Jacob. It was a honeymoon for us as we couldn't afford one when we married. Both sets of Grandparents took the kids for three and a half days while we were gone, bless them for that! That was a dream vacation for us.
