A recent fundraiser offered admission at a "family rate"--2 adults and 2 children. It's interesting to see which organizations actually include all our kids in a family rate. The local YMCA does, which is a BIG moneysaver for us. The kids spend a lot of time there, and when the older ones reached their teen years, the staff offered them jobs as life guards, afterschool assistants,etc.

The zoo also included all the kids under 18 in the family rate. That definitely makes me feel kindly toward them.

Has anyone else had any positive (or negative) experiences with this?
